The Annual York Catholic History Day will take place at the Bar Convent in York on Saturday 11 June beginning at 10am, with talks by Dr. Scholastica Jacob: Re-building Libraries in a Second Exile: English Benedictine Nuns and their books 1795 – 1840, Dr. Marjorie Coughlan: The English College and the Campagna Landscape, through the paintings and photographs of Bishop William Giles and Dr. John Jenkins: A national Repository of Saints: the relic collections of Wesrtminster cathedral 1900 – 1945 Cost: £15.00 (Students £7.50) includes tea and coffee but not lunch.
